A place to grow.
By Faith - A Study of Hebrews 11
Join us this year as we grow in faith by studying this important aspect of Christian life from Hebrews 11.
This series will include the challenges of walking by faith in this world as ordinary, everyday people - just like the people of the Bible. We will also dive into the topics of creationism and the persecuted church.
God's people must walk by faith and not by feelings. That pleases God.
Sundays, 10:00am, during the morning worship service.

Current Topic - Making Sense of Suffering
Finding Answers for Life
Church in the Valley is committed to pursuing truth. This is a challenge in today's culture. God has not left us without dependable and trustworthy answers for life. Our church is a safe place to grow, ask questions, and wrestle with the idea of truth being a real thing worthy of pursuit. We don't expect people to be in the same place in their spiritual journeys. But we believe God's truth is trustworthy and still sets people free.
Sunday Sermons
We believe that scripture is given to us to discover Who God is and why He sent His son. From time-to-time topical sermons are presented in order to keep up with current topics and cultural changes. But normally we preach expository series, meaning a book or chapter of the bible is presented line-by-line in order to get a clearer understanding of God's intent in the passage. Our sermons reflect that God's truth is trustworthy and we work to proclaim His life-giving, hope-building promises.
Worship in Spirit and Truth
Our worship is simple. We have a mix of theologically sound hymns and songs that look to focus on the Lord and what God has done for His people. We believe the worship service is meant for the gathering of God's people to worship God through praise, prayer and preaching.
We welcome all visitors.
From small groups to weekend meetups, Sunday school to a Saturday morning coffee for men or a mid-week study for women, we have lots of opportunities for people to gather together in community weekly, encouraging one another closer to a life devoted to Christ.
